Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Negara Brunei Darussalam

The launching ceremony of the Innovation ICT-Based Pilot classroom will be held on Monday, February 13, 2012 at 15:00hrs at Sekolah Menengah Rimba II, Rimba Gadong. The ceremony will be attended by several senior government officers from the Ministry of Education of Brunei Darussalam including the Permanent Secretary, Awg Hj Mahrub bin Hj Murni, Korean Ambassador to Brunei, H.E. Mr. Choi Byung Koo and a delegation from the Ministry of Education, Science & Technology of Republic of Korea, including Assistant Minister for Primary and Secondary School Policy, H.E. Mr. Kim Chong Kwan. 

The objectives of this Innovative ICT-Based classroom project is to strengthen and further develop cooperation between the two countries in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education, by establishing state-of-the-art classroom equipped with ICT Hardware & Software in Brunei Darussalam. The cost of the project is half a million US dollar and is fully sponsored by the Korean government. The classroom project will be implemented at Sekolah Menengah Rimba II.
